What an excellent place to stay with a breakfast that kept us going for many miles. Can highly reccommend as a place to stay, with the pub just down the road, who could ask for more.

After the worse day in the lakes for 3 years our greeting and welcome raised our spirits and could not have been better! If your doing the C2C this is the place to stay!

Had a lovely nights stay, living room space welcome after a great meal in the boot and shoe. Breakfast was great, just what you needed for another long day in the saddle.

Stayed here with my son on day one of our C2C trip last August. We received a warm and friendly welcome, the bike storage facilities and room were great. As others have said there's a small lounge to relax, close to the boot and shoe pub which was good for our evening meal. What was truly outstanding was the breakfast, amazing choice and local produce!

A warm welcome after a long days riding. Room was very clean and comfortable with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee. The breakfast was simply amazing. A choice of juices, cereals and fresh fruit topped of with a full English veggie breakfast that set me up nicely for the climbs ahead. Very reasonable too. Highly recommended
