The hosts here are most obliging and hospitable and this is borne out by the outstanding comments in their visitors book. We will be back next year!

Nice room. Value for money. Decent breakfast. I would happily stay there again. The host was excellent. It had been raining that day and the fire was on when we arrived to dry our clothes, together with offers of tea and biscuits. And he had already booked us into the Allenheads pub.

Have just stayed at this lovely accommodation where the hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with freshly baked bread and home made preserves, fresh fruit, porridge and all of the usual full English choices. All were far to tempting prior to getting on the bike for the next stage of the C2C! Good secure bike storage also. Coffee and tea making facilities including biscuits too which was a nice touch.

Friendly welcome from Pat on arrival. The room I had was nice, and everything seemed very clean. There are shared bathrooms and lounge with TV (could be useful if it's raining). There is also a kitchen, but I was not advised if I could use that (I didn't ask as I didn't need it). Downtown Allenheads has just a pub and a cafe. The cafe opens until 5 and I had a nice meal there. Only briefly sampled the pub, but they seemed friendly enough. I didn't try the pub for food. Terry served me breakfast, and I found him a man of very few words.

Stayed here on 26/7/14. Nice welcome from Pat. Everything you need in a B&B. Rooms well presented and very clean. Beds comfortable. Shared bathroom again very clean. There is a out house for bike storage. Short walk to pub. Good breakfast in the morning. All in all a great place to stay.

Have just stayed with Mike and Janine in their great B and B. Lovely setting, amazing views and clean, comfortable rooms. I was greeted with the offer of a cuppa and some biscuits, which was most welcome after a day in the hills. Free wifi allowed me to catch up with the family. Breakfast was wonderful and included fresh eggs from Janine's chickens and ducks. Would definitely stay there again.
