C2C Guide Book!
20th Edition Crossing Britain from Coast to Coast Including HADRIAN’S CYCLEWAY
This is the ultimate guide if you fancy doing the three great Coast to Coast rides, containing all the essential accommodation & tourist information.
We will shortly be launching the new C2C website. It’s a bit overdue and we’re working on it right now. In the meantime, please continue with the tried and trusted site which first went live in 2001.
If you’re after a few leisure days in the saddle with the BEST PLACES to EAT, SLEEP & DRINK, then you’ve come to the right place. The C2C might be tough, but you can do it with planning, even if you’re not quite up there with Bradley Wiggins. Speaking of whom, please note that we added a fabulous loop WIGGO’S WAY, from Penruddock to Stanhope, in honour of the great man last year and it is proving popular.
BUT If you want to do some serious road burning, read on. Check out the experiences of others, send in your own. Links to blogs are most welcome, as are your pictures. There’s technical help as well as restaurant tips.
And don’t forget to mention C2C Guide if you stay at the many places on our properly researched listings. We’ve been in business since the route opened in 1994, so we know what we’re talking about.
In addition to Wiggo’s Way we have also added a new section called the Weardale Alternative which will ease the pressure on the Rookhope to Allenheads section and now links Nenthead with Stanhope via St John’s Chapel on the A689. More information to follow.
